Bug on blog? problem posting...lost post!

I do not use the new editor. I hit Save after I wrote a post...and a new window popped up! What the HECK???

The window with my blog entry just sat there, and would not save, like it was stuck! Why on earth did a new window pop up when I hit "save???" Why did the blog refuse to save my post?

I just wasted 15 minutes of my life writing a post that disappeared.

Sounds like this is an issue with your machine - the only time a new window opens is when you are uploading media.

Has this issue occurred on any other computer/browser? Please check if you haven't already.

My machine is relatively new--just got it in November. This only happens with bcuk. This happened several times with BCUK, and no one else.

and also, last night, it wouldn't allow me to copy/past text, either. And no, I don't have that issue with any other website.

I thought at first it was a wordpress issue, but it's not--because I then tried to copy/paste text from one bcuk blog, to another bcuk blog, and it didn't allow me to---it would show the text in the post, but then when I hit "save" the text would literally disappear.

I'm not using the new editor. I heard from another bcuk user, who said she lost a post as well, but didn't elaborate, so it isn't just me, it's that it's not being reported, perhaps?

Thanks Rampage.

What browser are you using?

Is this issue specific to one browser?

Haven't been able to reproduce this, and have heard nothing from other users.
