Problem with tags

First I suspected that all the letters with double dots would cause problems, but then I found out it's not the case.

I have the tag called 'eläminen'. For some reason if I just spell it like that to the tags field (or click that tag in below) and confirm it, it will show 'elÄminen' in my blog. This happens in the writing form and also when adding the tags to post in the normal view.

I get that tag to be spelled correctly only if I spell it to the field like 'eläminen'. For some reason tags like 'työ', 'elämä', 'ystävyys' and like works OK, but the 'eläminen' doesn't. Could this still be problem with escaping?
